Recently, we can see the rapid onset of UV LED technology as an alternative to conventional mercury or gallium lamps. The main advantages of this modern technology include lower energy costs, minimal thermal impact of cured products, easy and smooth performance regulation and environmental friendliness (mercury-free sources). UV LED technology has a narrower wavelength range than conventional lamps and therefore concentrates its power more efficiently in the required area. UV cured materials (varnishes, adhesives …), which are adapted to the properties of UV LED systems, must be used in these systems (standard UV materials cannot be used).
Aeroterm, a.s. since its inception in 1991, has specialized in UV development.
