FloorStar 2 Floor UV Curing Unit

Special mobile UV curing equipment designed for curing paints, varnishes, sealants etc. on floors. The device is designed as a motor-driven trolley with built-in special ozone-free UV lamp. It is equipped with a reflector made of a special material with increased UV reflectivity. This reflector focuses UV radiation on the floor to maximize the light energy of the UV lamp for trouble-free curing of UV materials. The UV lamp is housed in a module that is equipped with an adjustable shield that prevents UV radiation from leaking into the environment.

The UV lamp is powered by a electronic power supply, which signals the user, among other things, that the unit is ready for work (reaching the UV lamp working point) and also indicates the cooling of the UV lamp after the work. It also provides an indication of possible fault conditions. Switching the power of the UV lamp between stand-by operation and full 100% power is provided automatically depending on the movement of the device.

The built-in motor drives a pair of wheels that are complemented by a pair of non-driven swivel castors. This design ensures perfect control of the entire system. On the back of the device is also located an extra pair of transport wheels, which allow easy arrival of the device directly to the surface to be treated, so that other wheels do not get dirty after cleaning. All wheels are easy to clean.

Movement control is performed on the handlebar with the control panel. Turning the right handle slightly forwards or backwards causes the device movement in the appropriate direction. The forward speed is adjusted by the operator and the maximum speed is used for reverse drive (the UV lamp stays in stand-by mode). The device allows setting the required speed directly in meters per minute (indication on the built-in display). The handlebar is height adjustable, it can be easily folded for easy transport of the device. After fixing in folded position, the handle can be used again for transport manipulation. In addition, the movable handle design prevents damage to the UV lamp module when attempting to tilt the device forward. The device also includes a parking dock made of stainless steel, which is used to safely park the device when starting, after cooling and when the UV lamp is on.

All necessary UV lamp cooling fans are built into the device. Special UV-resistant wheels for easy handling.
