QuickStar Exposure Unit
Quick start exposure unit…
- quick start of UV lamp
- no lamp preheating
- no mechanical shutter and stand-by mode
- ozone-free lamp
- point light source for sharp contours
- suspended mounting or optional Q-Stand stand

The QuickStar unit is designed for exposure of screen printing templates, offset plates, etc. with UV sensitive diazo layers, photo-polymer and SBQ layers. It is also suitable for cromalin and daylight films. It eliminates the disadvantages of conventional copy lamps – the need for preheating, mechanical shutter, stand-by operation. The QuickStar lamp uses a special ozone-free metal halide UV lamp, which develops the desired spectrum of radiation within seconds of being switched on. These lamps are about 50% more efficient than conventional lamps of the same wattage. Optically, the QuickStar is designed as a point-of-light source, which in practice gives sharp contours and reproduces fine details and rasters.
QuickStar is designed to be suspended as well as to be installed horizontally, so that it can be used standalone on a stand, or built into existing equipment. Digital timer with start delay, allowing the operator to safely leave the workspace of the exposure unit. Optionally available with UV integrator to control exposure parameters. The equipment is made up of top parts from renowned world producers and is designed and manufactured to comply with the regulations and standards of EU countries in terms of construction, operation and operator safety and is equipped with CE declaration.
