Combined UV curing / hot air conveyor dryer designed to cure UV inks and to safely dry solvent-based inks printed on a variety of materials. The dryer consists of a loading section, a hot air section and an unloading section with belt drive. On the loading section an UV bridge module is installed for curing UV inks, the unloading section is extended and ready for later optional installation of the cooling section.
The design and arrangement of the UV radiation source gives enough UV energy over the entire working width while significantly suppressing the thermal influence of the printed objects. The reflectors used in the UV lamps are made of a special material with increased UV reflectivity. The UV bridge curing chamber contains one row of UV lamps, each UV lamp can be switched on separately. The overall thermal influence of the printed objects is reduced by high-quality heat filters. The UV bridge control panel is equipped as standard with ammeters for monitoring the UV lamp operating point and operating hours counters for UV lamp wear monitoring (replacement after approx. 1000 hours of operation recommended).

The device operates in a hot-air section with a high-speed, highly turbulent flow, which makes it possible to minimize the size of the heating section and its energy consumption. This concept ensures high efficiency of the device. Very high accuracy of setting and maintaining the set temperature is guaranteed by the most modern type of temperature control with automatic tuning of control parameters. The control system used is characterized by a very fast and accurate rise to the set temperature without overshooting it and a very precise maintenance of the set temperature.

A combination of squirrel cage motor and the frequency invertor for precise velocity control and maintenence-free operation. The belt speed can be changed continuously, actual value in meters per minute is indicated on the display. Highly mechanically resistant Teflon coated fiberglass belt. The printed products are held aerodynamically on the conveyor belt so that there is no risk of damage to the products when passing through the dryer or at high belt speeds. Fumes extraction system included. Specially developed shields minimize the risk of exposure to UV radiation. Switchboard cabinet with device control panel, emergency STOP button and main switch of the whole device. Noise insulation, top features, simple operation, attractive design. The equipment includes a noise insulated exhaust fan for the installed UV module. The device is designed and manufactured to comply with the regulations and standards of the EU countries and is equipped with the CE declaration. The equipment is approved by the State Testing Institute and for the safe drying of substances containing explosive and flammable solvents.
